Lea Isidora Onayan
200-hr nOMad Teacher & Mvt109™ Facilitator
Lea’s love for mindful movement began at a young age as she trained in classical ballet for over 18 years and continued with Yoga when she received her 200-HR certification through Riverstone Yoga & nOMad always at OM. In May of 2020, she received her BA in Dance with a concentration in Body, Science, & Motion from Marymount Manhattan College. She then furthered and expanded her movement education and received her Level 1 & Level 2 Mvt109™ Facilitator certification from nOMad always at OM/Phoebe Leona. Starting her practice at a donation-based studio in NYC, she feels it is important that mindful movement should be accessible and affordable. Bill first experienced yoga through seeking relief from back and hip pain due to arthritis. 22 years of military service had taken its toll on both body and mind. After moving to the Columbia River Gorge from Alaska, he found relief in restorative yoga. Feeling brave one day, he entered his first Bikram yoga class and never looked back. Wanting to share what he discovered, he pursued his 200 hour CYT and has a passion for making yoga accessible for all populations. Bill enjoys practicing outdoors and weaving philosophy into his practice. He is a 200 hr CYT, CPT and Rowing Coach. He teaches online with Tribe, nOMad and in person at Pure Yoga The Dalles. Ally has been practicing yoga for 6 years and is a certified Yoga Instructor, earning her 200-HR yoga certification at Riverstone Yoga. Ally was originally drawn to yoga from a mental health aspect of trying to calm the mind. Quickly falling in love with both yoga and meditation, it has quite literally changed her life. Ally’s main focus is on Vinyasa style practice and meditation integration. Yoga isn’t about being flexible. You’re never too old, never too sick, too young, or too late to practice yoga. Yoga is much more than a form of exercise. It’s a way of life. It’s about exploring, challenging and healing yourself all at the same time. Yoga is about being in your body, quieting the mind, owning your breath, and grounding into the present moment. Yoga is about being here now and accepting what is. She believes yoga is a journey, different for us all. While we are all drawn to it for different reasons, it unifies us and brings us closer in a deeper way.
When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find her scoping out the best brunch spots or racking up her flight miles traveling to new places near and far. She describes herself as an alien with a gypsy soul and a love for pineapples
