WHY WE LOVE HOTEL AGUA BLANCA
We had the pleasure to retreat to Hotel Agua Blanca with nOMad Guide, Kim Romain in March 2024. From the moment we took our first step onto the grounds, we felt safe, held, calm, and filled with gratitude to have found such a special sanctuary waiting for us.
Agua Blanca is a gem of a place with grounds that keep the curious seeker excited to explore everyday. From the hiking trails down the canon where you get to discover secret waterfalls and caves, to the special rooftop garden, farm animals, and a small resident art studio, there are surprises around every corner of the property and we didn't even get around to finding everything like the zipline!
What we love the most about this special property is the peaceful nature and powerful vortexes of energy we got to feel and play with during our retreat. There were so many inviting places for us to share our sessions throughout the property, including the designated studio which is quite spacious for bigger groups.
And finally, we highly recommend booking your retreat during the Monarch migration (February and March) this is a once in a lifetime experience to witness millions of monarch butterflies! We plan to go back to Agua Blanca very soon!

WHAT TO CONSIDER
when booking your retreat at Hotel Agua Blanca:
- There is no minimum for retreat groups required to book the entire property.
- Deposit: 20% deposit to book rooms (fully refundable up to 60 days before arrival). 50% to be covered 1 month before arrival. 100% to be covered before arrival.
- Travel: 30 minutes from Zitácuaro bus station (2 hour drive from Mexico City). 3 hour private transfer from Mexico City or Morelia airports.
- Special Deals: Free Sweat Lodge for first booking
- Bookings during Butterfly season needs to be planned well ahead in advance.
