Amanda Trevelino is Transforming the World

Dear friend,
I’m writing to you from an overcrowded bus on its way to the central province of Zambia. Outside my window the sun is rising red-orange; soon to be baking the land in the village where I’ll learn experientially about water conservation and what it means to be interconnected. A homestay in a place far from electricity and running water may not be luxurious, but it is a privilege. I’m grateful to share in family meals and be included in community.
Authenticity lights me up. So does making an effort to live into the philosophy of yoga off the mat. I’ve been a yoga teacher and yoga therapist for more than a decade, so when I became an “empty nester” it was natural to combine my passion for meaningful travel with teaching.
Now I steward yogic travel for seekers and real people, for the conscious and the curious who are ready to find a deeper part of themselves in lesser-known places. I’m told that my gift is helping others see what I see.
I know from my own journey that well-being doesn’t come only from fitness, but from moments that transform the subtle aspects of Self. We heal and grow when we have a supportive community, so the experiences I curate build connections without and within. I feel purposeful when I’m serving as a catalyst for self-discovery and personal evolution.
A recent “graduate” of my retreat to Nepal’s birthplace of the Buddha is joining my upcoming trekking/yoga/mythology retreat in Greece. She says, “I’m going to give it my all and embrace whatever comes with an open heart! There is no one else I would do this with.”
And there is nothing more I could ask for as a guide. I look forward to meeting you, and hope our paths soon will cross.
With love,

Join Amanda in Greece...
