Dr. Meredith Calvert

Dr. Meredith Calvert, Ph.D., RYT 500 is a neuroscientist turned yoga and breathwork instructor who has spent over 1,000 hours guiding students toward deeper connection with their bodies, their breath, and the natural world. Trained across Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and pranayama, she brings both scientific rigor and genuine warmth to every practice, weaving insights from neuroscience into experiences that help people regulate their nervous systems and come back to themselves. Meredith leads immersive retreats both within the US and internationally, designing each one around nature, adventure, and mindful movement.

Her retreats rest on a conviction that wonder is not a reward for a life well-lived. It's the whole point. Whether hiking a coastal ridgeline at sunrise or descending into the quiet blue of the ocean, Meredith creates space for people to step outside the noise of daily life and come home to themselves. Each gathering blends daily yoga and breathwork with curated adventures in wild, beautiful places, inviting participants to reclaim their sense of joy, wonder, and deep connection with the natural world.

PASSPORT READY SESSIONS

THURS, MAY 28th- SAGE SESSIONS(3:30-4:30pm EDT)

ROOM #3

Beneath the Surface: Neuroscience, Breath & the Wild Within:

There's a place beneath the noise of daily life that is still, deep, and wilder than you expect. Using evidence-based breathwork and the neuroscience of the nervous system, we'll descend there together: past fear, past exhaustion, into the open water of your own aliveness. No diving experience required. Just bring your breath.

FRI, MAY 29th 8:30- 9:30AM

The Science of Awe: Neuroscience, Nature & the Art of Wonder

Awe is not a luxury, it's a biological need. In this session, we explore the neuroscience of wonder: what happens in the brain and body when we encounter something vast, beautiful, and beyond ourselves. In this session, we use the science of soft fascination and Blue Mind theory to understand why nature restores us, then experience it directly through a guided visualization and open awareness practice. We'll expand your sense of possibility, and reconnect you with the quiet, curious, wildly alive part of yourself that thrives on wonder. Move gently. Breathe deeply. Live wildly.
