WATCH: Budgeting & Pricing for Profit

Creating a retreat is not just about the magic — it's a business. This step ensures you're pricing with confidence and not burning out or just breaking even.

What You'll Learn:

  • What your expenses are
  • What you want to make
  • How to price a retreat so all expenses are paid with the minimum amount of people
  • What are the benefits and expenses of having a co-host vs assistant vs guest teacher

Possible Challenges:

  • If expenses shift, learn how to cover them without freaking out.
  • If enrollment is low, offer VIP upgrades, affiliate promos, or extend early bird pricing

Action Steps:

  • Use the provided spreadsheet as a template to price your retreat..
  • Map out ALL expenses (venue, food, travel, support team, materials, etc.).
  • Decide on your compensation: How much do you want to earn?
  • Build in a buffer for unexpected costs (10–20%).
  • Choose a pricing model (tiered, early bird, payment plans).
  • Set a minimum number of attendees to break even + ideal profit number.
